A Heat Pad to help keep a warm, constant, steady temperature for your home brew. Also called a heat panel. Simply place your fermenting bin directly on the pad, but avoid direct contact with any liquid.

Ensure pad is on a flat heat safe surface. Suitable for various sized fermenters, glass or plastic. Heat pads give out more heat than heat belts as heat radiates up through the brew with less heat loss to the atmosphere. Turn the appliance on when the brew is dropping below your desired temperature range and turn it off if heat is getting too much. More suitable for use with spirit washes and cold locations in NZ. Best used in conjunction with a stick on thermometer strip (sold separately). Does not have a thermostat to control heat, is operated manually.
