Sales Policy - All payments must be made in New Zealand Dollars (NZ$). All Payments are "Cash in Advance" we do not accept "Cash On Delivery" or "Payment On Invoice". We accept payment by Visa, MasterCard or American Express. We have eft-pos available for in-store sales/collection. Paywave is available in store. Payment by Internet banking (or Branch banking) is suitable.

Goods and Services Tax at current rate of 15%, will apply to all sales. All prices quoted on the website and in email or telephone quotations by Hauraki Home Brew Services 2003 Ltd are GST Inclusive unless otherwise stated.
Where the shipping (courier) company requires the customer/purchaser or an authorized person to be present at the shipping address to sign for goods, Hauraki Home Brew Services 2003 Ltd takes no responsibility for orders not received due to the absence of the customer/purchaser or an authorized person. The shipping (courier) company will leave a calling card and must be contacted directly to arrange a suitable time for redelivery if no one is available. There is no additional cost for this redelivery. Hauraki Home Brew Services 2003 Ltd accepts no responsibility for goods not received due to the supply of incorrect billing details. At all times, however, Hauraki Home Brew will endeavour to ensure that goods are received by the customer/purchaser in perfect condition and when anticipated or advised. Problems are rare, and are usually resolved to the complete satisfaction of the customer/purchaser. Please contact us if products are not delivered when expected so we can remedy the situation as quickly as possible.
Items listed on our website are normally held in-stock/onsite unless otherwise specified. However stock levels change daily and if we cannot supply we will notify you to delay time. Items should be shipped on the day payment is confirmed but a days notice is appreciated if a pickup order is requested. Actual products may differ slightly from any pictures/images presented. Product information is derived from the suppliers of Hauraki Home Brew Services 2003 Ltd, and the company takes no responsibility for errors in this information. Romalpa Clause: Title to the goods does not pass to the purchaser until the goods have been paid for in full.
Damage Claims: Hauraki Home Brew Services 2003 Ltd accepts no responsibility for damaged goods that are not checked, in full, upon delivery by the customer/purchaser. Hauraki Home Brew will, however, still endeavour to action a Claim with the shipping company on your behalf. The shipping company will have the final authority as to whether this claim is successful. Where damage has been notified with the shipping company, at point of delivery, in writing, Hauraki Home Brew will be able to arrange replacement of damaged goods.
Missing Items Claim: Hauraki Home Brew Services 2003 Ltd requires the purchaser/receiver to inspect all parcels and packaging upon receipt and ensure all items ordered are present and accounted for. If items are missing please contact us immediately, please do not dispose of packing material until this is confirmed as our items are well packed and may be accidentally disposed of. Claims for missing items will not be accepted if Hauraki Home Brew Services is not notified within 5 working days of the customer receiving the goods.
Faulty Goods: Hauraki Home Brew Services 2003 Ltd will endeavour to inspect goods for obvious faults before shipping, however "faulties" will exist from time to time. Please contact us if you believe items are faulty first to discuss the problem. If they do appear faulty we will require the customer to arrange the return of the goods to us, from where we will arrange return to the supplier for final fault confirmation. Once the supplier has confirmed their intention to replace or repair we will arrange return shipping to the customer for the item..
Returns and Exchanges: Please choose your goods carefully. Hauraki Home Brew does not offer refunds or exchanges simply because you have changed your mind on a purchase. If you need more information than provided by the website to ascertain the goods are correct for your needs please contact us directly. However, Hauraki Home Brew will endeavour to cooperate if the goods are to be exchanged as long as the goods are returned in "full saleable condition" with original packaging intact. Please contact us first to discuss this. Return freight is to be arranged by the customer. NB: This will not apply to items that are highly perishable such as White Lab Yeast, Specials or goods purchased and then keep to their BBE/expiry or when items or packaging has changed obsoleting the product.
Cancellations: Once orders are confirmed and despatched the order is considered "complete" and cannot be cancelled. Undespatched "Cancelled" orders will incurr penalty of the costs of the transaction ie Credit Card transaction fee of 4%. If you have supplied incorrect delivery details please contact us immediately and we will endeavour to try to redirect the parcel without incurring you any extra delivery costs.
Refunds: Where we are unable to supply the goods required in a suitable timeframe and no alternative product is available to suit the customers needs we will arrange a refund for those goods and any freight paid for but not used. Refunds are generally done by internet payment, once a receiving bank account is supplied, and will be confirmed by a follow-up email from us.
