Create+ Thermowell 90° Elbow Section (50711)
Create+ Thermowell 90° Elbow Section (50711)
The Create+ Thermowell 90° Elbow Section is designed for use with 2” tri-clamp compatible distilling systems. The stainless steel 90° elbow section with a thermowell integrates into a modular distilling system, redirecting vapour flow while enabling temperature monitoring.
Key features:
- Connects to 2" tri-clamp distilling accessories
- Integrated thermowell
- 304 grade stainless steel construction
- High temperature resistant food grade silicone
INSTRUCTIONS: Insert 90° Elbow Section into your distilling system ensuring the silicone gasket is placed in the tri-clamp connection. Secure with a tri-clamp. Secure your thermometer's sensor probe in the thermowell by using the provided plastic and silicone sleeves and the stainless-steel nut. If not using a probe, seal off the thermowell using the provided stainless steel cap and O-ring.
CLEANING BEFORE USE: Rinse all components with fresh, clean water before the first distillation run.
CLEANING AFTER USE: If needed, thoroughly rinse the section to remove any wash or debris. Use a non-scented brewery cleaner and a soft brush to remove any stubborn debris.
CAUTION: After distillation is complete, the surface will be very hot. Allow to cool before handling.

NOTE: The Still Spirits Boiler Lid and Alembic Dome are designed primarily for small to medium-sized distilling setups that do not have heavy, off-center attachments. The lid and dome are reasonably flexible and sturdy enough to fit components that are within the following specifications:
- A total column & condenser height up to 1.1 m from the lid or dome.
- A total column & condenser weight up to 11kg, including up to 2kg of off-center weight from a swan neck, lyne arm, or condenser running in parallel with the column and offset up to 160 mm (6”) to the main column.
We recommend external support if:
- Your column & condenser exceeds the above specifications.
- The lyne arm is not vertical but angled or perpendicular running away from the column, resulting in significantly distant off-center weight.
- If the column & condenser is noticeably leaning
