Black Rock Classic Mexican Cerveza is a light, refreshing Mexican-style lager inspired by the easy-drinking character of beers like Corona and Sol. Brew it with 1kg of dextrose or Black Rock Liquid Brewing Sugar for a crisp, clean finish, or use 1.7kg of Black Rock Ultralight Malt Extract to add extra body, colour, and malt flavour. Served ice cold with a wedge of lime, it's the ultimate summertime refreshment.
Pouring a bright pale gold, this cerveza features a clean malt profile with subtle sweetness and exceptional drinkability. Crafted with premium MaltEurop Lager Malt and balanced with a gentle addition of NZ Green Bullet™ hops, it delivers a mild bitterness that enhances its crisp, refreshing finish.
At 4.5% ABV and just 10 IBU, this highly sessionable lager is smooth, thirst-quenching, and perfectly suited to warm days, backyard barbecues, and relaxed afternoons in the sun.

For best results, brew Black Rock Classic Mexican Cerveza with Black Rock Unhopped Ultralight & an 11.5g sachet of Fermentis Yeast: SafAle™ US-05. For a craftier option, try 50g of dry hop at day 6 of fermentation. Suggested hop additions: Citra or NZ Superdelic™.
