Typical specs when brewed as per instructions:
IBU: 37, SRM: 5
Malt: 95% MaltEurop Pilsner, 5% Gladfield Crystal.
ABV: 4.5% (approx. using 1.7kg Black Rock Ultralight UME)
Hops, (bittering): NZ Hops Green Bullet™
Requires 1 kg dextrose or brew with Black Rock Ultra-Light Malt, or combine 2 cans of Bohemian Pilsner for a more intense hop aroma and bitterness. Try brewing this recipe with a specialty lager yeast like Fermentis Yeast: SafLager™ W-34/70.
Suggested hop additions:
New Zealand Hops: Nelson Sauvin: Adds white wine, gooseberry, and tropical fruit notes, perfect for a unique and aromatic Pilsner. Motueka: Provides lime, lemon, and tropical fruit aromas, ideal for a refreshing and fruity Pilsner.
American Hops: Cascade: Adds floral, citrus, and grapefruit notes, perfect for a classic and refreshing Pilsner. Centennial: Provides lemon, floral, and pine aromas, ideal for a bold and aromatic Pilsner
