Our website is set up to quote freight using our current courier provider, NZ Couriers. Customers on Great Barrier Island or those requiring delivery via NZ Post should not use this website as freight will not be calculated correctly and instead should contact us directly.

We cannot despatch to a PO Box address via courier so we do require a physical address to deliver to. Ideally a person should be available to inspect goods for damage during shipping before signing and accepting the parcel. Parcels left at customers direction of "No Signature Required"  or not inspected before signature is obtained will have no insurance claim available through the courier company or Hauraki Home Brew Service. We do not accept export orders through this website, please contact us directly. We "subsidise" the freight cost to our customers and hope you find this offers you the best value possible.

If an item says *Please read then this is considered a 'high risk' shipping item by NZ Couriers and we cannot get delivery insurance on these types of items. Therefore you must understand that while we will take every care in preparing this item for shipping it is dispatched completely at your own risk.

Rural delivery costs more than "Urban" delivery, and takes longer to ship, so where possible please choose a non rural address to ship to. Couriers may also call an address "Non Urban" at their discretion and charge this as a rural address. Please check your address on the couriers website first to determine if you are "Urban" or "Non Urban/Rural" before ordering on

Freight prices are inclusive of GST (15%). freight is calculated by weight and also by volume, so a light and bulky item like 30 plastic beer bottles or a 30 litre fermenting pail will cost the same as a heavy item to send.

Subsidised Freight Costs;

Auckland Urban Tickets $3.50.

Order as much as you like and only pay $3.50. No limits except some bulky items on special which may include an additional freight charge.. 

Includes all urban/non rural addresses within the greater Auckland zone as far north as Kaiwaka/Wellsford and out to Pukekohe, does not include Waiheke or Gt Barrier Islands.

Next working day delivery time 

Rural/non urban delivery extra $4.00.

North Island Urban Delivery

$5.50 up to 5kgs, $6.50 up to 10kgs or $7.50 up to 25kgs

1-2 Working days delivery time (includes all North Island locations not already covered by an Auckland Ticket). This is for areas above Kaiwaka, and areas below Pukekohe.

Rural/non urban delivery extra $4.00.

South Island and Waiheke Island

$10.00, $13.00 and $16.00

Small parcels, Shoe box sized and up to 10kgs or 0.03m3.

Rural/non urban delivery extra $4.00.

Non Urban/Rural Delivery Additional $4.00 Per Parcel.

If you are considered non urban or rural delivery please fill yourself in as rural delivery when completing your address when you register. If you are unsure of your  status please inquire with us first or use the address checker link supplied on the home page. Under ticketed parcels may not be delivered until further freight payment is made. Couriers do not specifically use New Zealand Posts R.D areas and may consider you non urban or rural if you are outside of their delivery zones. This will require an extra delivery cycle/person and incur a $4 Rural delivery fee per parcel. We have tried to ensure your parcels are kept to the maximum sized allowed for their weight/size limit to minimise additional rural ticketing to you.

Small Courier Satchel Delivery $3.50 and $4.00.

If your items are small enough and non fragile we will use small courier satchels to save freight costs.

From 1st February 2018 NZ Post now charge $3.70 rural delivery fees on their satchels so we no longer able to off this service to rural delivery customers as being exempt from rural fees.

Track and Trace

You will be sent your tracking details when NZ Couriers collect and scan your item from us. If you need any help with delivery please contact us.

Out Of Stocks:

We endeavour to maintain accurate stock levels on our website but sometimes we run out of items and don't have correct levels listed. If there is an out of stock item on your order we will notify you to the expected delay time and ask if you would like to "hold" the order until complete or "substitute" for another suitable product. We do not operate a back order system.
