Oktoberfest 2012 is on.

For those who don't know what this is -its our shop “Open Day” set to a German Beer festival theme. Jason and myself plus sister Steph all dress up in our Bavarian costumes and offer beer and wine sampling, a free bbq (thank you Brownie & Greenie for your help) and play plenty of Oompah music on repeat (we only have 2 CD’s).

We invite our current customers to come along for a glass and to meet other brewers and chat about what they are doing. Its a great way to learn new skills off more experienced brewers, especially if you’re new to brewing. We also invite people that are really interested in starting to brew to come along but we will point out if you’re only interested in getting drunk please DONT come and go to the pub instead! We will ask you to leave if this is obviously why you came,
And of course our friends are welcome too, come and see what we do for a crust!

This is a family friendly day so kids are welcome.

So details, Saturday 27th Oktober, here at the shop. We will open for business as usual at 10.00am and the fridge will be primed and ready but we will start the bbq around mid-day.

You can come along any time you like during the day and stay as long as you want, but please park on the street this day if you are staying a while to leave the closer parks free for others that are just picking up their next brew quickly. Feel free to bring a fold out chair if you want to get comfy.

Let us know if you think you can make it.
