Dextrose Brewing Sugar 1 kg
This is the standard amount for a beer kit or try mixing dextrose and white sugar together for your spirit washes.
This sugar is simply "glucose" and is able to be fermented immediately by all yeasts with no conversion required as with white cane sugar.
This means the yeast can produce very clean, neutral alcohol more quickly. In beers white sugar can give a noticeable sour taste and when we drink too much white sugar can cause more headaches as the alcohol is not as pure especially in wines and spirits. Dextrose dissolves more easily than white sugar allowing us to mix easier at lower start temperatures.
